And I will mention again that the text is extremely clean. A very nice set. Also laid in is a purchase receipt showing the previous owner paid $125.00 for this set in 1992.

Vol 2 has a slight shelf lean. Endpapers have some offsetting. No previous owner markings - all pages are clean and unmarked. Loaded with illustrations , diagrams and photos. One of the classics of the subject. All the great post-war custom gunsmiths had this set in their libraries and they were well used. When you look at a custom rifle from the late 40's through the 60's, you can be sure that the knowledge from this set was a factor in producing it. Highly recommended.
